Chromic Gut Absorbable Suture, Taper Point, Size 2/0, 27", with SH Needle, is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture composed of purified collagen derived from the serosal layer of bovine intestines or the submucosal layer of ovine intestines. It is processed to ensure uniform diameter, consistent tensile strength, and minimal tissue reactivity. Treatment with chromium salts extends its absorption time and improves its handling and knot security.

The SH needle is a 1/2 circle taper point needle designed for atraumatic passage through soft tissue. It penetrates without cutting, making it ideal for subcutaneous and delicate internal tissues. The stainless steel construction ensures precision and durability throughout the surgical procedure.
